The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC) is an annual event held by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and the Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC).
Over more than three decades, SBRC has established itself as the most important national scientific event in computer networks and distributed systems and one of the most competitive in information technology. The importance of the SBRC can be seen in the number of paper submissions and participants in its various editions.
SBRC's 39th edition will happen between august 16 and 20, 2021, in Uberlândia, MG. The coordination of the event is under the responsibility of the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCO) maintained by the Faculty of Computing (FACOM) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
Traditionally, the event consists of technical sessions, short courses, panels and debates, workshops, demos, lectures, and tutorials given by internationally renowned guests.
This year the event will again feature a Hackathon and also a Thesis and Dissertation Contest.
